The Cherry Drive Elementary Library Media Center’s vision is to foster a nurturing learning environment where students can access and evaluate information to become autonomous, life-long 21st century citizens and producers. 

The mission of the Cherry Drive Elementary Library Media Center is to prepare students to be global, 21st century participants through meaningful staff collaboration that ensures excellent instruction of information and media literacy, technology literacy, and digital citizenship.  The library will support the community by providing a comprehensive collection and equitable access to high quality resources in a variety of formats.

Library Policies:

Circulation Duration

Books/Magazines - 2 weeks

Book Limits

Kindergarten - one book at a time
1st Grade/2nd Grade - two books at a time
3rd Grade/4th Grade/5th Grade - three books at a time

Additional Policies:

Students with overdue books may not check out another until the late one is returned.

Damaged and lost books must be paid for in full before checking out another book.

Please Practice Careful Handling Procedures With All Library Materials.  Library etiquette and book care are reviewed at the beginning of each year.
