Healthy Snacks

Here at Cherry Drive students are encouraged to make healthy choices at snack time. Students track their snacks daily, and at the end of each month the classes with the highest healthy snack percentages are rewarded with extra recess time. You can help your student earn this reward, and develop healthy habits by providing them with "Go" snacks to bring to school. "Go” foods are low in fat, added sugar, and calories.  “Go” foods include: fruits, vegetables, low-fat milk and cheese, whole grains, nuts and lean meats.
