Hi Families!

We miss all of you so much and hope this letter finds you healthy, happy and able to spend time with your family.  We understand how chaotic and uncertain this time is.  Please know we are here to support your child’s growth, learning and happiness to the best of our abilities.

We have spent time planning to support you and your family’s needs, not overwhelm your child, and creating new ways to continue making progress toward their social and emotional goals.  We know many of you are still working, even from home, and need time to yourself. Our hope is to equip kids with supports (familiar activities, guided lessons and video learning) to independently engage in work time.  Each week students will have assignments to complete and submit.

Here is some of the information that will help you get started with remote learning:

Email: Please check your email daily for remote learning updates and for zoom links for office hours and check-in’s.

Learning Platform: We will post a learning board with all activities for the week in seesaw. Please submit all work through seesaw.

Check-In’s: We will be providing regular weekly/twice a week check-in’s with students and families via your preference of zoom or phone call.

Office Hours: These are the times we are available to do a zoom video conference and/or respond to email. We will also check and respond to work in seesaw throughout the day.

Parent Resources: Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. We are here to help! We also acknowledge that this is a challenging time and know that adjusting to remote learning is going to require flexibility and patience. We will keep you updated with any changes that may/will occur - we are learning too! Thanks! Stay safe and well!  We have also attached a document of Social Emotional Learning Resources, which includes lessons, mindfulness and activities.
