Our Principal

Dear Cherry Drive Families,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Cherry Drive Elementary. I have proudly served in the Adams 12 School District for 20 years in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, ELD specialist, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work at Hillcrest, Thornton, Riverdale, and Woodglen Elementary Schools. It is truly a privilege to join the Cherry Drive community.

With a strong commitment to students, staff, and families, I am excited to build new traditions while honoring what already makes Cherry Drive such a special place. I believe in setting high expectations for every student while fostering a school culture where all children feel a true sense of academic and social belonging. My goal is to ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and celebrated for who they are and what they can achieve.

By working together, we will continue to strengthen the partnership between home and school so that our students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

On a personal note, I am married and have one child who attends preschool in an Adams 12 school. I am proud to be both an educator and a parent in this district. Thank you for your trust and partnership. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I look forward to working alongside you in the year ahead.
