Our Principal

Hello Cheetah Family!  I am excited to continue my journey as your Principal this year.  I have been in education since 2006 and taught fourth and fifth grade in Los Angeles, North Carolina and Colorado before joining Adams 12 as an Assistant Principal in 2014.  I value the impact of education and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters in Education from Pepperdine University.  I completed the Educational Leadership program at The University of Colorado, Denver because I knew that I wanted to utilize the best knowledge and experiences from  all the leaders I have worked with over the years.

For fun, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children, bike riding and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.  We love laid back weekends, ordering food in and just spending time together outside of our busy work lives.

I am thrilled to join the Cherry Drive family as your principal again this year, after an incredibly challenging 2020-21 school year!  I am inspired by our community - staff, students, and families - and how you persevered through the hardest of times this past year.  If we can make it through these unprecedented times, we can overcome anything!

I strongly believe in the power of building a strong partnership between home and school and will continue to seek your input and feedback as we work collectively to provide a safe, positive learning environment where all students find success both socially and academically.
