Hi!
My name is Taylor Lederman and I am one of the learning specialists at Cherry Drive Elementary. This is my sixth year at Cherry Drive and in the Adams 12 School District. I absolutely love our school and we're happy to have you here!
I am from West Bloomfield, Michigan where I come from a long lineage of educators. I have had a passion for teacing for as long as I can remember. I moved to Colorado to work at Cherry Drive and I haven't looked back! I have worked with children my whole life, including being a camp counselor and supervisor for 9 years at Tamarack Camps in Ortonville, Michigan as well as volunteering with Special Olympics Michigan for many years.
I earned my undergraduate degree in elementary education with a minor in special education and social students from Michigan State University. I also got my Masters from Michigan State with a focus in special education. Michigan State made me fall in love with all things relating to BIG10 sports, especially when Michigan State wins #GOGREEN.
When I am not at school I enjoy exploring what Colorado has to offer. The mountains are calling, so I go as often as I can. I enjoy going hiking and traveling with friends, hanging at dog parks with my pup, Bella, and practicing yoga. Since moving to Colorado, I have become a certified yoga instructor and teach at a couple studios in Denver.
I love teaching. I love making learning fun. I love incorproating technology. I love watching your children grow and become confident little beings.
This school year is going to look a little different, BUT it is still going to be another amazing year at Cherry Drive!
